About us.

Founded in 2016, Broker Resources (BR) is a joint venture between Captive Resources and The McGowan Companies. The McGowan Companies, is a privately-owned managing general underwriter (MGU), program administrator, and wholesale broker located in Fairview Park, OH. McGowan operates in all 50 states.

Executive team.

Chris Malouf

Chris joined Broker Resources in May of 2016. Prior to Broker Re, Chris worked at Burns & Wilcox for 3 years in an Underwriting and Brokerage role.

Tom Ahlert

Tom came aboard Broker Resources in June of 2017. Before joining the team, Tom worked in marketing/placement roles at both Hub International and Marsh.

Jeanne Hansen

Head of operations for Captive Resources, LLC (SVP Operations), as well as Co-President and Co-Founder of Broker Resources, LLC. Before joining Captive Resources, Jeanne spent 20 years at Marsh ending her tenure as Managing Director and National Group Captive Practice Leader.

Chris Longo

CEO and Managing Director of McGowan Excess & Casualty and Co-President of Broker Resources. Prior to joining The McGowan Companies in 2005, Chris was the President of St. Paul Travelers Specialty Excess & Umbrella. Before Travelers, Chris was President of Chubb Atlantic Indemnity Ltd.
